HOPI EAR CANDLINGThis course consists of a practical and theory element, studied over the course of 4 hours (min) culminating with an observed practical. Three case studies should be carried out in the candidate's own time, followed by a short theory quiz. You will require comfortable clothing and please ensure nails are clean and short because you will be carrying out a facial massage. Course Content
6 CPD Points FACIALSCandidates will be taught facial massage and all necessary information will be provided. Comfortable clothing will be required and please ensure nails are clean and short because you will be performing a massage sequence. Course Content: Reasons for giving/receiving a facial, Anatomy and physiology of the skin; bones and muscles of the head and shoulder. Contraindications to a facial treatment; skin disorders. Determining Skin types. Facial products - their uses and purpose. Facial routine - practical element. Facial Massage, Record Keeping and Case studies. The course fee is £100 and includes registration as a Preferred Client with Arbonne International our product supplier. 13 CPD Points AROMATHERAPY MASSAGE (2)--FEETThis course consists of both practical and theory. The Aromatherapy element of the course offers the 12 essential oils of the above course (1) alongside a further 6 essential oils. A foot massage routine is taught alongside the relevant anatomy and physiology of the foot. Approximately 8 hours are needed to complete the course, with 5 case studies being required before certification is given. The course fee is £225, which includes all 18 essential oils and a carrier oil. 13 CPD Points Course Content Structure of the foot & ankle; foot massage; treatment; contraindications; aromatherapy and essential oils; among other areas. EXTENSION COURSEThe Foot massage course can be studied as an extension to the course(1) above. As such this can be completed in 4 hours, with 3 case studies needed before certification. Six new essential oils are introduced. The course cost is £100, and includes 10ml each of the new oils and a carrier. HOT STONE MASSAGEA massage qualification and knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential as these will not be taught on the course. Comfortable clothing and short fingernails desirable. The course fee is £80, which includes a set of Chakra stones. Basalt massage stones and stone heaters can be priced on request.
